Lea Valley Walk and Capital Ring - temporary closure

Lea Valley Walk will be closed from 16 Feb 2010 until mid December 2010 from just south of Bow Lock to Bow Roundabout to enable Crossrail to divert the 400k cables beneath the towpath.

The ramped access to the Elevated Greenway will form part of the diversion as far as Pudding Mill Lane. There will then be a diversion along the road to Stratford High St. where the Lea Valley Walk can be regained by going south and rejoining it after the Bow roundabout.

Capital Ring section 14 along the Greenway can be rejoined at Strattord High St. by going north. This section of the Elevated Greenway will be closed until May 2010 to enable the ODA to carry out completion of improvements to the Greenway as far as West Ham station.
