Section 5 (The Jubilee Loop walk)

Description:

A circular walk in the heart of London linking The Monarchy with the Government.

Start:

The panel on the South side of Trafalgar Square with views down Whitehall, the Mall, Northumberland Avenue, Cockspur Street and The Strand.

Finish:

The panel on the South side of Trafalgar Square with views down Whitehall, the Mall, Northumberland Avenue, Cockspur Street and The Strand.

Recommended direction:

Anti-clockwise

Pavements and park paths.

Signage:

Directional discs are set in the footway at every junction, the cross of the crown pointing in the direction of travel.

Junction of Whitehall / Trafalgar Square St James's Park Broad Sanctuary near Westminster Abbey.

Public transport and breakpoints:

Tube and rail stations closest to this section include Charing Cross, St James's Park and Westminster. There are also many buses which connect the Walkway.
