Footnotes Audio Walks

After being recommended a walk including climbing a steep hill and over a wall Marie Holden resolved to make it easier for people with pushchairs and wheelchairs to find places to go. So, being a determined person Marie set up 2 new websites providing searchable information for anyone walking with wheels, or simply looking for barrier-free walks.

These walks are guides available as MP3 downloads and CDs which allow you to explore places at your own pace. Some of the walks cover well known areas, others take you to locations ignored in conventional guide books.

The guides draw on history, architecture, science, literature, even gossip and reflect the interests of the different compilers. Walks take between one and two hours, and you can do them when you wish. There are currently twenty four walks to choose from: twenty in London, four outside London.

The audio walk guides cost £6.00 each.
